BIRTH CONTROL

I was 31 the summer I discovered my diminished ovarian reserve and began IVF treatment. In grappling with my new reality, I began examining my own ideas of femininity versus womanhood and performance versus identity. The project aims to question the authenticity of narratives, what we feel versus what we show, and how womanhood is shaped by forces beyond our control.
