I was 31 the summer I discovered my diminished ovarian reserve and 32 when I began IVF treatment. In grappling with my new reality, I began examining my own ideas of femininity versus womanhood, family versus belonging, and performance versus identity. This project aims to question the authenticity of narratives, what we feel versus what we show, and how womanhood is shaped by forces beyond our control.
